Started running complexes and some basic exploration stuff (highsec until I want to remove the training wheels) and ended up racing people to the loot a few times, which I greatly enjoyed (and I won ). Never really tried exploration before, but...

Meh, it takes the same amount of time for me. Two monitors: First one - EVE full screen windowed Second- Browser and such opened and to my normal EVE sites. Really worth the investment...I cringe when I have to work on single monitor setups.
